There’s A 400,000 Square-Foot Waterpark Resort Coming To Houston, Texas

Great Wolf Lodge, a popular family-friendly waterpark resort, is expanding to Webster, Texas, offering a variety of indoor and outdoor activities.

Great Wolf Lodge, one of Texas' favorite waterpark resorts, is coming to the Houston area soon. More than just a waterpark, the 400,000-square-foot destination boasts all sorts of fun attractions under one roof. It will be your family's new favorite summer vacation spot!

Great Wolf Lodge is a water park resort with locations all over the country, and currently, its only Texas location is in the Dallas suburb of Grapevine.

Nothing short of paradise for families with young children, this all-in-one vacation destination features all sorts indoor and outdoor activities for both kids and adults.

A second park in the Lone Star State is slated to break ground near Houston this year.

It will be located right off the Gulf Freeway in Webster, boasting 400,000 square feet of lodging and entertainment space.

The lodge's signature indoor waterpark will span 75,000 square feet alone, not including any of the other attractions.

While many of the rides are geared towards the little ones, there will also be thrilling water slides, relaxing lazy rivers, and even an adults-only hot tub.

Other activities at the Grapevine resort include a ropes course, arcade, gem mining, wand quests, and more.

It's unclear how many of these will be featured in the Webster park - only time will tell, and we can't wait to see!

In addition to all the family fun, the resort will also have a massive, 500-room hotel.

As is customary at Great Wolf Lodge, the suites are expected to be incredibly spacious and fully equipped with modern amenities.

There are even special, themed bunk beds for the kiddos!
