The Sage Hill Bed & Breakfast originally functioned as a schoolhouse when it first opened over 100 years ago. And there are some that say that many of the original students never left! Located in Annamoose, North Dakota awaits a charming and historic bed & breakfast known as Sage Hill.

Step inside, and you'll be delighted to find a charming and thoughtfully-appointed inn with all the amenities you'll need for a cozy stay. And yet...there's a chance you'll encounter something rather unexpected when you stay the night here.

The building was constructed in 1928 and originally served as a schoolhouse. Named The White School after Colonel Samuel White, the school was very progressive and was made up of approximately 100 students.

By 1968, the school had closed, and it wasn't until 1996 that a couple who dreamed of owning a bed & breakfast and restaurant decided to renovate the building.

And while it may sound troubling to hear that the inn is potentially haunted, rest assured that the ghosts here are all friendly.

Any time guests have encountered something paranormal, it's been more mischievous than spooky. Items will show up in unexpected places, causing guests to go on an impromptu scavenger hunt.
