The upstairs dining room is just exquisite.

We were looking for a certain kind of Adirondack experience for our winter getaway and this surpassed all of our expectations.

You'll also more than likely be amazed by the fact Lake Clear Lodge & Retreat has its own walk-in wine and beer cellar that's full of all sorts of drinks you'll want to taste.

But it's outside the main lodge where so much of the magic lies on this 25-acre lakefront getaway in NY.

Lake Clear & Retreat has a wonderful array of lake-view suites, private chalets, and lodges to choose from.

A picturesque sight that many only dream of seeing during the winter, these darling little cabins are the coziest things you'll lay your eyes on all season, not to mention some of the best lakefront cabins in NY.

Every lodge at this Lake Clear getaway offers something different, but they all feature true Adirondack themes, with lots of beautiful wood and linens covered in bears and moose all throughout the cabins.

When you're ready to pull yourself away from the wood-burning fireplaces, you can enjoy complimentary cross-country skis and snowshoes here at Lake Clear Lodge & Retreat.

On the 25-acre property, you'll get the chance to discover serene and well-groomed trails that take you into the quiet woods where you're surrounded by snow-topped trees that are as tall as the eye can see.

Another reason so many people love this lakefront getaway in NY is because it features lantern-lit sleigh rides during the winter, an experience that's simply impossible to ever forget and surely bound to complete the season.

It leaves right from the front of the lodge, which as you can see is beautifully decorated.

I'm not saying that this sleigh ride was my favorite thing ever, but this sleigh ride was my favorite thing ever.

The drinks and interactive experience were loads of fun.
