Welcome to Hidden Pastures Luxury Fiber Farm! This pretty little oasis is located in Branchville, and you're going to want to pay it a visit.
The farm got its start in 2004, and now it's home to all kinds of fiber livestock, including alpacas, yaks, rabbits, and goats.
You're going to love the alpacas who live here. They're very friendly and will come right up to say hello.
Each has its own quirky personality, and it's fun to get to know them during your stay.
You'll also want to meet Zak the Yak, as well as some of the female yaks on the farm. If you time your visit just right, you might even get to meet a baby yak!
The farm has two kinds of goats: American Cashmere and Angora. They're all just as sweet as can be, and you'll certainly want to cuddle a kid while you're there.
Just wait until you get a look at an Angora rabbit! These furballs are downright delightful.
You're going to fall in love with this place, and you might never want to leave. While you probably can't stay forever, you can camp overnight here.
Four campsites are available. Camp amongst the mature maples, or find a spot in the pasture, surrounded by the animals. Pitch your tent and enjoy!
You'll have access to a small kitchen facility, water, restrooms, and wifi. Campsites are $55 per night, tents only.
Make sure to stop by the Hidden Pastures Alpaca Fiber Shop to browse the socks, sweaters, and yarn produced by the animals who live here.
