There is so much to experience during a New Hampshire winter, and as a true New Englander, I try to embrace the cold and get out there and have some fun. However, as the temperature drops and the cold wind starts to blow, my warm plush robe and fuzzy fleece throw become my best friends when I venture back inside.

The Lazy Moose Log Cabin is the ideal place to retire after a cold winter’s day outside. Every room in the cabin offers a cozy oasis. The three bedrooms are decked out in warm red and black checkered comforters and inviting rustic decor that continues throughout the home. 

Enjoy the warmth of the fire in the living space as you snuggle up with a good read or DVD. Or grab a blanket and take a midday nap on the comfortable sofa. The hosts have also provided board games to play.

When it’s time to eat, you and your fellow guests can cook warm winter meals in the cabin’s modern, fully-stocked kitchen. Or keep relaxing and order a pizza and subs from the store down the road. You can also find great restaurants in town and the nearby communities of Lincoln and Littleton.
