You Can Sleep on a Working Cattle Farm at This Airbnb in New Hampshire

Discover a relaxing New Hampshire Airbnb on a beautiful farm, perfect for slowing down and reconnecting with nature.

So many trips and vacations are planned around doing, but what if instead, you dedicated your trip to simply being? New Hampshire is ideal for this kind of slowed-down, thoughtful travel, and I've found the perfect home base for you in Loudon, New Hampshire. Rather than an action-packed travel itinerary, guests of this authentic cattle farm are invited to ease into a meaningful experience marked by cozy furnishings, wide-open space, stunning views, and friendly farm animals.

There's a private room in a loft at Miles Smith Farm with one of the most idyllic views imaginable, and it's ready and waiting for you. The space can accommodate two people comfortably and includes one bed and one private bath. You'll also have access to a sink, refrigerator, microwave, air fryer, and coffee maker, but please note that there's no stove or oven to use. Guests should note that there's a common area with a TV and couch, and you are welcome to use this shared space between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.

And while the space is listed as a private room, it's more of a private studio apartment, and you won't feel that a single thing is missing. I love the decor of the space, which is a beautiful blend of traditional and contemporary. Think: wood paneled ceilings with fresh, bright walls, and beautiful craftsmanship throughout. It's the kind of place that feels well-loved but not tired.

The best part of all: the views. Step outside to the deck (shared with the C-Sarah Whitehouse Suite, also available for rent if you need more space) and you'll be entranced by the tranquil farm views. Just imagine waking up in the morning with a perfect cup of coffee in hand, sliding the glass doors open, and breathing in the fresh air with a view of rolling hills and pastures.

The farm itself is a shared space, too—you'll be sharing it with a delightful crew of farm animals! Miles Smith Farm is a working cattle farm that dates back to the 1830s. Exploring the farm offers an authentic glimpse into farm life, and guests are invited to walk anywhere on the property. Depending on the time of year, you may even have a chance to interact with the animals, which guests agree is a highlight of the experience.

One recent glowing review highlights just how special a stay this is:

"This was the most unique place we’ve ever stayed! We loved how cozy the farm house felt and how each of the rooms were integrated into the shared living room and kitchen. The morning stroll at the farm was so beyond peaceful and the perfect way to start our weekend adventure! Very dog friendly, as well!"
