Sleep Among the Trees at This New Hampshire Treehouse — a Dreamy Fall Retreat

Planning a late summer or early autumn trip to the White Mountains? This rustic treehouse in Bartlett is the perfect place to get away.

You will be hard-pressed to find a more breathtaking place to visit than the White Mountains region of New Hampshire. But if you are looking to vacation during peak foliage season and haven’t yet booked a hotel or vacation rental, you may be too late to the game. Fortunately, the area is a stunning place to spend time year-round, and late summer or early fall is also a fantastic time to visit. If you are looking for an available vacation rental that combines White Mountain adventures, unique accommodations, and even a wine tasting experience, look no further than the White Mountain Treehouse Getaway in the town of Bartlett.

I love to vacation in unusual rentals, and a stay in a treehouse such as this one has been on my bucket list for some time now. While this special Airbnb in Bartlett is sure to conjure up a bit of childhood nostalgia, it offers much more than the neighborhood treehouses that we all grew up visiting. Let me tell you a little about this unusual Airbnb.

First of all, the White Mountain Treehouse Getaway is quite spacious. It contains four beds with room for up to six guests to sleep comfortably. There is also a full bathroom with an incredible Japanese soaking tub. While the treehouse does not have a kitchen, you will find a mini fridge where you can store snacks and drinks, a Nespresso machine for that early morning caffeine fix, and a private BBQ where you can grill some delicious meals. And there are plenty of great restaurants to visit nearby. Be sure to check out the Red Fox Bar & Grill in Jackson and Delaney's Hole in the Wall in North Conway.

This incredible Airbnb is located within the Alpine Garden glampground, a beautiful family-run boutique cabin and treehouse village. Along with the treehouse, there are also several cabins, “hobbit homes,” and on-site campers available to rent. A stay at the village includes use of some of the site’s amenities, including their heated inground pool, which is open from May to October.

And there is one more thing about this special place that is worth mentioning. The property also contains an on-site winery where you can sample wine and cider. The Alpine Village Winery is open Thursday through Sunday afternoons, so if you want to take advantage of it, be sure to book accordingly.

When you are not sitting around the fire pit outside the treehouse or taking a leisurely dip in the pool, be sure to get out and explore the area. The treehouse is located close to Mount Washington, the Polar Caves, Storyland, the Conway Scenic Railway, and many other popular White Mountain attractions. There are also so many opportunities for outdoor excursions, including hiking, rock climbing, biking, and kayaking.

Have you ever vacationed in a luxury treehouse? If so, how did you find the experience? If you are interested in booking a stay at this unique New Hampshire rental, you can do so by using the White Mountain Treehouse Getaway Airbnb link.
