The White Mountain National Forest is one of my favorite places to vacation in the Granite State. It is a gorgeous area to visit, with so much outdoor fun to experience throughout the year. For me, the most difficult part of planning a trip up north is figuring out where to stay. There are just so many amazing local accommodations to choose from. In the past, I’ve vacationed at a cozy cabin at the Indian Head Resort in Lincoln and also spent an unforgettable overnight in a caboose rental (also in Lincoln). Both places offered spectacular stays and gave me many wonderful memories. For my next visit to the mountains, I am looking for an equally exceptional property. The homeowner offers up kayaks and paddleboards to guests, and fishing is permitted in the pond. There is also great hiking right on the property.
