You’ll Find A Luxury Glampground In Montana That’s Ideal For Winter Snuggles And Relaxation

The picturesque town of Whitefish is known as a hub for all things adventure. Nature enthusiasts and those looking for fresh air and fun flock to the town throughout the year. While it's easy to imagine traditional camping in the area, we have a new idea to consider. Offering a unique take on sleeping outdoors, "glamping" which is short for "glamorous camping," is a great way to spend the night in a beautiful part of the state. Close to all things nature, including Glacier National Park, this opportunity for winter glamping in Montana is both fun and relaxing.

Whitefish, Montana is one of the most beautiful places in the state to visit. This is especially true in the winter.

And, during the coziest of seasons, there are few better ways to enjoy your time in the region than with an overnight stay at BaseGlamp.

BaseGlamp got its start when four medical professionals went in search of a way to enjoy time with their families during the quarantine of 2020. Since then, the space has grown to consist of 12 geodesic vacation rental domes across 20 acres of forest north of downtown Whitefish.

There are a variety of domes to choose from, each catering to different needs and styles of glamping.

Visitors can choose from a single queen, premium queen, mezzanine queen, premium single king, and a mezzanine king. Each dome sleeps between two and four people.

Currently under construction is an ADA-compliant dome. Hot tubs are coming soon, too!

While any time is perfect for a stay, there's nothing quite like the quiet and calm of a winter escape. With the grounds covered in snow and peacefulness all around, this is my favorite time to go glamping.

Enjoy a book, sip a hot beverage, and watch the world outside all while forgetting anything that might exist in your real life. This is certainly a great way to enjoy some time away while winter glamping in Montana.

BaseGlamp is one of the few glamping spots in the state that is open throughout the year. You can learn more about what's offered with your stay, as well as check availability, by visiting the BaseGlamp website. You can also follow BaseGlamp on Facebook.

Before heading off for your adventure, be sure to check out the ultimate winter packing list. This should set you up with everything you'll need for glamping in Montana when it's cold and blustery.

While you're in the area to enjoy the best winter glamping in Montana, be sure to spend some time exploring the delightfully walkable town of Whitefish.
