A charming park in western Iowa has a new collection of cabins that will allow you to experience the great outdoors while enjoying all the comforts of home. Arrowhead County Park is a 147-acre natural oasis that's a destination for families and outdoor lovers. The park recently became even better, thanks to the addition of three well-appointed cabins that are now available for the public to rent. Here's the scoop on these fancy cabins and why you need to make reservations at Arrowhead Park.
Arrowhead Park is in Pottawattamie County, about 25 miles northeast of Omaha. It's a popular destination for fishing, camping and outdoor recreation.
After spending the day fishing on the calm 17-acre lake or strolling the tranquil woodland trails, you can spend the night in the park - but you won't have to bother with setting up a tent.
Three brand new cabins are available for rent to visitors. Each cabin is equipped with a deck that has a scenic view. Indoors, there's also plenty of room to relax.
You'll feel as comfortable as you do in your own home. The cabins are fully furnished and have heat and central air conditioning. One of the cabins even has a lofted ceiling and a fireplace.
Enjoy a night of sleep in a rustic, comfortable cabin bed. Two of the cabins sleep up to 10 people and the largest cabin sleeps 12.
In the morning, make a full breakfast in a large well-equipped kitchen.
Thousands visit Arrowhead Park each year. If you're unable to stay overnight in the cabins, the park is still a great place for a day trip to enjoy some fishing, paddle boating, canoeing, or hiking. There are also equestrian trails at the park. If you're interested in other glamping getaways, here are 10 Iowa state park cabins to discover.
