Cabins are equipped with electricity, stove, oven, fridge, and sink. Use the shower and rec room facility for showering, playing pool, and as a game room.

2. Rathbun Lake, Honey Creek Resort, 12633 Resort Dr., Moravia

There are 28 luxury cabins, here. Situated near Rathbun Lake, these cabins are a wonderful family retreat. A wrap-around deck, fireplace, and full kitchen will make you feel right at home.

3. Pinicon Ridge Park, 4729 Horseshoe Falls Rd., Central City

Located on the east side of the Wapsipinicon River, these cabins are nestled into a wooded bluff and offer amazing views of the surrounding woods. There are four modern camping cabins available for reservation through Linn County Parks, here.

4. Lake Darling State Park, 111 Lake Darling Rd., Brighton

These six modern family-sized cabins were opened just last year. Each cabin has air conditioning and heating, a full kitchen and bathroom, and sleeps six people comfortably.

5. Stone State Park, 5001 Talbot Rd, Sioux City

The beautiful new camping cabin at Stone State Park will be available June 22, 2017. It sleeps four, has heating and air conditioning, and a small kitchen area. It's located near a modern restroom and shower building.

6. Backbone State Park, 347 129th St., Dundee

Backbone State Park has both one and two-bedroom cabins with air conditioning and heat. They are comfortably sized, and offer an ideal way to relax in comfort on the grounds of this amazing Iowa park.

7. Lacey Trail Cabins, 24438 Lacey Trail, Keosauqua

Enjoy either of the two secluded cabins outfitted with a full kitchen, shower, bathroom, air conditioning, and heat. Cabins are located at the top of Lake Sugema's north boat ramp. Cabins sleep four people comfortably.

8. Pine Lake State Park, 22620 Co. Hwy S-56, Eldora

The cabins here have fireplaces, bathrooms with shower, stove, and refrigerator. The 654-acre park offers two lakes, and plenty of room to explore.

9. Lake Wapello State Park, 15248 Campground RoadDrakesville

The family cabin at Lake Wapello offers two sets of twin-over-double bunk beds, and is ideal for families with children. The beach is beautiful for swimming and lounging. Enjoy several miles of easy hiking trails that wind around the lake.

10. Waubonsie State Park, 2585 Waubonsie Park Rd, Hamburg

The Loess Hills call here at Waubonsie State Park. The cabin is primitive, but the fishing here is amazing. Lake Virginia has largemouth bass, bluegill, and catfish. It's a wonderful place for kayaking and canoeing.
