Sleep Among the Treetops at This Unique Idaho Vacation Rental

There’s something about an escape into nature that calms your mind, reduces your stress levels, and improves your overall well-being. Fortunately, here in Idaho, we have many incredible places where you can escape into the great outdoors and feel tucked away from the rest of the world.

Located right by beautiful Hayden Lake in northern Idaho is a tiny home Airbnb that is truly dreamy. Here, you’ll feel like you are sleeping in the treetops as you look out at some of Mother Nature’s beautiful creations.

The panhandle is one of my favorite places to explore, and it is where you'll find some of the best lakes in Idaho, including Hayden Lake. Next to this beautiful body of water is a tiny home Airbnb, which is the perfect size for a romantic couple’s getaway, a girl’s trip, or even a solo adventure.

This isn’t your typical vacation rental by a lake. This tiny home stands tall — very tall. In fact, from many areas around the property, you’ll enjoy jaw-dropping forest and lake views. This is the type of place where you can easily re-energize your mind and body.

Although the home is only 360 square feet, the unique design makes it feel much larger. Plus, the large windows throughout the entire property let in plenty of natural light, making this rental feel even more open.

As you walk inside, you’ll find a full kitchen, which is a feature that you don’t typically see in many tiny homes. There are several appliances in the kitchen, as well as cooking basics, dishes, and silverware.

There are also three bedrooms in this rental. Again, this is quite rare in a tiny home. One bedroom is located on the main floor and is complete with a memory foam mattress, cozy bedding, and a projector screen where you can watch your favorite movie while cuddled up in bed.

The other two bedrooms are in the loft. One bedroom boasts a full-size bed, and the other has a twin XL-sized bed. You must climb a ladder to reach these bedrooms, but the views are well worth it. Enjoy lake views from the massive windows and watch the stars at night from the skylight above you.

And while there are so many gems throughout the interior of the home, the outside is just as spectacular. There is a large deck where you can spend your mornings with a warm drink in hand or sit out at night and count the stars. The deck has everything you need for some time outdoors, including two couches, a table and chairs, and a BBQ.

If you're like me and want to spend as much time as possible at the lake, there are stairs that will take you to a private beach just below the home. This is also a great place to put in a kayak or paddleboard for time on the water.

The back of the property also features a fire pit, swing, and hot tub — it’s a fabulous place for a little quiet time, good conversations, and nature therapy. You’ll have a hard time leaving.
