This New York City Is One Of The Most Peaceful Places To Live In The Country
Buffalo is ranked as New York’s most peaceful city due to its low stress levels, beautiful gardens, and vibrant brewery scene.
According to a recent ranking, Buffalo is New York's most peaceful city - which is a pretty impressive honor for such a sizable community!
In fact, the list put Buffalo at number 19 among the top 20 most peaceful cities in the United States.
It was the only Empire State city included among the Money Inc. rankings. One reason for Buffalo's inclusion on the list was it's reputation as one of the "least stressful" cities in the country.
You will find lovely gardens and a conservatory to stroll, through, which certainly helps to maintain one's equilibrium and peace.
The grounds at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens is a perfect place on a summer weekend. During the winter, the conservatory can help to fight seasonal doldrums, with its humid air and lush greenery.
Water has a calming influence on peoples, as well.
Maybe Lake Erie and the Niagara river help to contribute to Buffalo's lack of stress.
The site said that Buffalo's residents enjoy hanging out at the library.
That's definitely a mellow endeavor!
It’s also possible that Buffalo’s vibrant brewery scene may make the city less stressful to live in.
You’ll definitely want to check out a few of Buffalo’s outstanding breweries in your quest for personal peace.
In addition, Money Inc. cited CBS News, which apparently listed Buffalo among the least likely cities in the United States to be affected by “natural disasters.”
The compilers of that list have probably never heard of “lake effect snow.”
There are some occasions, however, when Buffalo is not as peaceful a city as one would imagine.
The Bills Mafia is largely responsible for those times.
We're sure that all Bills fans simply meditate between games to maintain their peaceful natures.
So what do you think? Is Buffalo the picture of a low-stress, peaceful paradise the media paints? Or is that somewhere else in New York? Let us know in the comments!
