2. Conway

This tourist oasis is also one of the most dangerous cities in the state, with 2.7 violent crimes and 35 property crimes per 1,000 residents.

3. Lebanon

Lebanon as 2.6 violent crimes and 32 property crimes per 1,000 residents, making this seemingly charming town on the Connecticut River a little less appealing after dark.

4. Laconia

With four violent crimes and 37 property crimes per 1,000 residents, this lakeside oasis isn't quite as charming as it seems.

5. Keene

This college town has two violent crimes and 40 property crimes per 1,000 residents.

6. Manchester

New Hampshire's biggest city also has a big crime rate: six violent crimes and 36 property crimes per 1,000 residents.

7. Nashua

Nashua has a lower crime rate than many of the cities in New Hampshire, but it's still relatively high, with two violent crimes and 21 property crimes per 1,000 residents.

8. Concord

The state's capital has a crime rate of two violent crimes and 22 property crimes per 1,000 residents.
