8. Every spring, people living in northeastern Montana can witness about 10,000 white pelicans migrate from the Gulf of Mexico to Medicine Lake.
These pelicans have a wingspan of nine feet, so it’s quite a sight to behold.

10. Giant Springs, Montana is home to the largest freshwater spring in the country.
