If you're wondering, "Is Kansas safe?," you're in luck because it really is! While there are many places to call home in the Sunflower State, the 10 safest cities in Kansas to live are Valley Center, Basehor, Goddard, Scott City, Mission Hills, Leawood, Gardner, Lindsborg, Rose Hill, and Louisburg.
Valley Center, the number one safest city on the Safewise list, saw 6.1 fewer property crime incidents year-over-year. However, Scott City claims the title as the city with the lowest property crime rates. In the last year, only 14 property crime incidents were reported.

To keep property safe, 59% of Kansans report they take extra precautions to protect their property. Approximately 28% of those individuals say they use guard dogs to reduce property crime.
