The Christmas holiday gets underway in less than two weeks at South Carolina’s biggest theme park that transforms into a winter wonderland each November. If you’ve yet to take the leap and go explore WinterFest at Carowinds then you’ll be pleasantly delighted with all it entails. From festive food to exciting rides and a whole lot more, there’s something for everyone in the family to love about WinterFest at Carowinds.
WinterFest takes place on select dates between November 13, 2021 and January 2, 2022.
Best experienced after dark, this winter celebration really lights up the park — literally!
Come ready to promenade on the ice on Snow Flake Lake, the official ice rink of WinterFest. For beginners, skate guides are available to help keep you on your feet while you twirl around the ice.
Whether looking for a romantic activity or making memories with the whole family, a carriage ride around the water park laughing and singing all the way will get everyone into the spirit while singing Christmas carols.
Bring the littles in the family over to the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree Lot to discover Christmas spirit and a perfect tree. After, take photos with Charlie and Sally to have keepsakes to treasure forever.
Be sure the kids and grands bring their letters for Santa. There's a special post office at WinterFest that will make sure they are hand-delivered to the big guy dressed in red long before Christmas.
