With gas prices soaring this year, it’s nice that we have so many things to do right here in our own backyard in the Palmetto State, without footing the bill for long-distance journeys too. Over in Tega Cay there’s a South Carolina fun park where you could easily spend the entire day checking out the interactive fun – and then still make it home by nightfall.

Welcome to Mr. Putty's Fun Park, home of a crazy good mini-golf course that features a 111-foot mini-golf hole, which happens to be the longest hole in the state.

It's actually the finale of the fun ropes course which happens to have an age minimum of six years and reach minimums, as well.

Over on the bungee jump, test your bouncing skills by just bouncing all around — or try a flip or two.

Mr. Putty's has plenty of attractions just for adults, too. Visitors over the age of 21 can sharpen their axe throwing skills over in the beer and wine garden at Mr. Stumpy's Axe Throwing arena.

Take a break from the action to refuel and refresh with funnel cakes, fried donuts, pretzels, and ice cream at the snack bar. The bar serves Pepsi products, bottled water, and root beer floats, too.
