This Tiny Drive-In May Just Be The Best Kept Secret In South Carolina
Sno Cap Drive-In in North Augusta is a nostalgic 1960s-era diner known for its delicious burgers and unchanged decor.
One of the best kept secrets in the Palmetto State is a tiny 1960s-era drive-in diner that still looks and feels the same as the day it opened in 1964.
Generations of families have been heading to this drive-in, located on West Avenue in North Augusta, for decade upon decade to score the same delicious food they had at The Cap as a kid. (The official name is Sno Cap Drive-In)
Whether you're seeking a big burger with cheese, or the colossal Sno Capper (a 10 ounce burger with the works), the burgers at Sno Cap have a special little ingredient called love. And they're always served with a smile from the welcoming staff.
Other sure bets on the menu include a short or a long hot dog, Caps pizza, and platters featuring fried shrimp, flounder or chicken. Yum!
If you're among the young, and the young at heart, that keep coming back to the Sno Cap, then you know about all of the nostalgia found here. Even the colorful decor is like stepping back in time.
Just about the ONLY thing that's changed at Sno Cap over the years is the curbside ordering methods. But hey, the new way of getting your food...
Is ACTUALLY faster! So come hungry, and if you want curb service, order ahead (803)279-4004.
Have you eaten at Sno Cap lately, if not, then you have a lot of catching up to do!
If Sno Cap was any farther west, it'd be in Georgia.
