This One Of A Kind Library Restaurant In South Carolina Is A Book Lover’s Dream Come True

One of the best places to find a good story is, of course, the library. But what you might not expect is to find a great love, adventure, or another type of story at a library restaurant in South Carolina! In fact, you may not have even known such exists.

The Library Restaurant is located in Myrtle Beach on North Kings Highway, which is where the restaurant moved to in 2017.

Meet Robin and her husband who had their first date at the Library Restaurant's old location. Since it was where their love story started, they celebrated with a meal here over 23 years later.

He started the special meal with French onion soup.

She chose she-crab soup ...

... followed by steak Diane, prepared tableside by the same server who served them on that first date years ago!

Jerold's story here is an adventure story, beginning with a little confusion -- thoughts that perhaps a wrong turn was made and he was really in New York City at a fine French restaurant, rather than South Carolina! He loved the escargot, virtually impossible to find elsewhere in the Myrtle Beach area.

The atmosphere and ambiance are really special, perfect for date nights and special occasions. Book lovers will be delighted by the library theme. You may even be able to check out books if any on the shelf interest you.

You'll find the service to be outstanding. Expect to pay prices higher than what you may be accustomed to in the area, but worth it for the upscale dining experience if you're a foodie.

Menu selections include after-dinner coffees and other beverages ...

... as well as a nice variety of decadent desserts to choose from. Customer favorites are the cherries jubilee and bananas foster.

There's a full bar offering top-shelf cocktail, beer, and wine selections. If it's not on the menu the bartender will still prepare your favorite beverage or you may want to try one of the specialty prepared martinis.

There may be specials just for happy hour as well!
