The Hidden South Carolina Park You’ll Want To Spend More Time In
Getting out of the house to enjoy an outside activity doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg. At the following little-known park in Anderson, outdoor fun is always at your fingertips – for free! And the best part? It’s conveniently located less than a mile from Interstate 85 so everyone can easily find and enjoy this hidden South Carolina park.
During these uncertain times, please keep safety in mind and consider adding destinations to your bucket list to visit at a later date.
As far as city parks go, not many have public beaches and all of the amenities found at Darwin Wright Park/Anderson Beach in the City of Anderson. The park is open year-round from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Two public restroom facilities are located within the 27-acre park. Please note: no lifeguards are provided at this park; it’s swim at your own risk. Learn more from this link on the official website of the City of Anderson.
