Let’s face it, no matter where we live in South Carolina, if we love seafood, it’s what we naturally crave when we spend any time at the ocean. If you’re familiar at all with the laid-back vibes on Folly Beach, then you’ll agree the quintessential ‘beachy’ restaurant, the Folly Beach Crab Shack, is a must for fresh seafood in a casual atmosphere where flip flops and bikini tops are always welcome.

Nearly all year round, save for the trio of weeks in February when it's just too cold, outdoor dining on the patio is preferred by most visitors who like to bask in the sun in the winter and enjoy the breezy shade in the summer. But weather aside, it's the seafood that visitors flock to Folly Beach Crab Shack for — and with good reason!

Snow crabs are always a fan fave and arrive in a heaping pile, still billowing with steam.

Well... possibly! The buckets of seafood (yes, there are more then one to select from) are overflowing with mounds of everything from snow crab legs to shrimp, oysters, corn, and potatoes.

The fresh, steamed shrimp is also destined to tempt your taste buds.

For those who prefer it battered and fried, a variety of seafood platters provide options galore at Folly Beach Crab Shack.
