Sometimes, you find the most delicious food at very unassuming places. They may be well-known or spots most people haven’t heard about or discovered … yet. We’ve found one of those to share with you that’s actually a gas station where you can get some of the best food in South Carolina.

Dave's Grill and Grocery is a simple gas station on Highway 4 about ten minutes from downtown Aiken. You may not realize if you didn't see the word "grill" on the front that you can get something to eat here.

It's nationally-known for delicious wings, which it serves up on "Wing Wednesdays."

But wings are not the only tasty food you'll find here. The BBQ is out-of-this-world, with a perfect smokey flavor, some of the best we've ever had! We also found the green beans and mac 'n cheese to be good.

You'll have several options of meats and sides to choose from on the hot bar.

Fried chicken is often served as well as burgers.

There are a few tables if you'd like to enjoy your meal here. It's a comfortable, friendly atmosphere.
