Lake Keowee, located in the Upstate, is said to have the deepest blue shade of water, resulting in a beautiful sight to all who visit. The shorelines are strikingly red, adding to the gorgeous contrast that is the colors of the lake. Visitors of the lake can expect to enjoy all of its amenities, from great swimming spots to boat launch docks for a day out on the water. There are restaurants along the water as well as houses with stellar views. You could easily spend all day at this sapphire beauty.
Which beach in South Carolina has the most pristine sand?
If you have the opportunity to visit the most beautiful places in South Carolina, consider hitting up the beach with the whitest, most pristine sand. Coligny Beach Park is said to have the brightest sand along South Carolina’s coast. It’s easy to access with plenty of amenities to make your beach trip a great one, especially once your feet hit those soft, white sands. The park has showers, changing rooms, walkways over the sand for those in wheelchairs or similar, and even free wi-fi. What more could you ask for? What is the weather like in South Carolina in the summer?
Plan on taking a beach day trip in South Carolina sometime this year? Thanks to the state’s mild winters, you can visit the coast outside of just summer, however, it’s no secret that summer tends to be the best time to go. It’s generally quite warm in the Palmetto State during summer. Daily temperatures can easily exceed 90 degrees, so be sure to bring plenty of sunscreen and water. The hottest month of the year is usually July. What better way to remedy those sweltering days than a beach trip? Cool off, soak up some rays, and just enjoy the sights and sounds of South Carolina’s beaches.
