Located In A Former Train Station, Union Station Brewery Is Rhode Island’s Original Brewpub
Union Station Brewery in Providence, located in a historic train station, offers exceptional craft beer and classic pub fare.
The craft beer scene in New England is second to none, and Rhody can definitely hold its own in that department. Each of our breweries and brew pubs have plenty of character and charm to go along with the delicious brew. But we'll always have a soft spot for Union Station Brewery. This is the first and only brew pub in the state that sits inside an old train station. And both the food and the beer are phenomenal.
Union Station Brewery is located in the heart of Providence’s downtown district.
The location once served as the Union Station train depot, but you'll know that when you see it. It's glaringly obvious.
Inside you'll find a laid back, cozy space, perfect for hanging out with friends on a low-key day.
This place has been a local treasure since its 1993 opening, and it's definitely a coveted place to be. That being said, it feels like a small neighborhood gem.
Union Station Brewery brews and serves its own handcrafted beer, but you can also get other New England beers to enjoy during your visit.
If you're craving something specific, ask. They'll either have it or have something similar.
But as fantastic as the beer is (and it really is), it's the classic pub fare that keeps patrons coming back.
The menu here is simple and straightforward, perfect for a place like this.
From classic New England clam chowder to burgers and fish and chips, the restaurant at Union Station Brewery serves something for everyone.
They also serve some tasty salads, if you'd rather go that route.
We aren't sure when Rhode Island will be able to open up fully... but when it does happen, we know where we'll be.
These nachos look like they're meant to be shared.

Come have a hot meal and a cold one and support a time-honored local business.
