The historic tavern transformed into a private home in 1841, housing the Edward Buchanan family. The famous songwriter, Stephen Foster, is even said to have written music at the home.
By 1842, ownership changed hands again, this time to President James Buchanan. Today, the historic 1740 building provides an enchanting setting for hungry diners.
And, if you're bringing the little ones along, they can choose from the children's menu. Entrees range from spaghetti and meatballs and chicken fingers to mini pizza and the mini Revere burger.
Dine in the charming Revere Tavern, which serves dinner Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
