For many of us, a major reason why we love living in the Keystone State is because it’s filled with so much history. If you’re always on the prowl to discover a new piece of Pennsylvania’s past, there’s no better place to take a step back in time than at one of our historic restaurants. To enjoy an amazing dining experience in an unforgettable setting, you’ll want to visit this one restaurant that’s loaded with Old World charm.
Tucked away in the western corner of our state is Washington County's premier Italian dining establishment.
To those of our residents who are unfamiliar with the local history of this area, the property that Palazzo 1837 sits on is referred to as Quail Acres. Built in 1837, the mansion has been well-preserved over the years and was originally home to the Quail family that immigrated here from Ireland. The Palladian-style home was eventually acquired by a Washington County couple that restored it and brought it back to life for new generations.

During our warmer months, guests are able to dine on the deck where they can enjoy views of the historic property.
Palazzo 1837 Ristorante serves lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday; guests can come and experience all that the restaurant has to offer from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm!
From your favorite European draughts to delicious wine, the tavern offers all sorts of wonderful drinks that will keep you far from thirsty.
Less than a mile away from Interstate 79, Palazzo 1837 Ristorante is easy to find and more than worth visiting!
