Enjoy The Most Colorful Spring Festival In Pennsylvania At The Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival
Spring’s arrival usually signals the start of schedules that are even more jam-packed than normal. After all, the warm weather means the return of festivals galore and spending as much time as we can outdoors after a cold and gloomy Pennsylvania winter. Celebrate the beauty of a new season at this colorful spring festival in Pennsylvania.
For two glorious spring days, the Annual Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival will return to the Horticulture Center and Centennial Arboretum in West Fairmount Park, Philadelphia.
Slated for April 15-16, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., the beloved spring festival features a full menu of family-friendly activities. You can even bring your pup along, as long as he remains on a six-foot leash.
A stroll through the park offers the opportunity to marvel at the cherry blossoms (don’t forget your camera), but that’s just the beginning of the fun that awaits.
Both days will feature a tea ceremony, ikebana and origami workshops, kimono and yukata dressing, and shogi teaching and playing. Catch one of a day full of performances, on one of two stages, on Saturday and Sunday, or grab a cold drink from the pop-up beer garden.
Admission to this spring festival in Pennsylvania is free, although donations are welcomed. If you donate, you’ll automatically be entered into a donor’s raffle. One of the prizes is roundtrip airline tickets to Japan.
