The Enchanting Farm To Table Eatery That Is Pennsylvania’s Most Popular Restaurant

Pennsylvania certainly has evolved into a foodie state. After all, the many restaurants that call PA home continue to earn national acclaim. Take Bolete, an enchanting restaurant in Bethlehem, as an example. People Magazine recently named the farm-to-table eatery Pennsylvania's most popular restaurant, and it's easy to see why.

Bolete, a charming restaurant that exudes warmth, promises an authentic farm to table dining experience. The family-owned restaurant has become a staple in the Lehigh Valley since it debuted a decade ago.

The sun-drenched restaurant offers only the freshest ingredients in its dishes. Chef Lee Chizmar and Erin Shea, the married owners of the restaurant, have partnered with numerous local farms, including...

...Brooke-Lee Farm, Ironstone Creamery & Farm, and Dutch Meadows.

Start your meal with a fine wine, available by the glass or by the bottle, such as Pinot Noir or Rose. Or, opt for a delicious cocktail. The Remedy, The Ghost of Mary, and The Viper are among the assortment of cocktails available.

The quaint restaurant boasts an impressive menu of such dishes as chilled oysters, Maine lobster rolls, and the Bolete cheese plate.

The menu changes with the season. The summer 2017 menu, for example, featured such entrees as rib eye steak, sea scallops, and smoked chicken breast.

Top off your meal with a scrumptious dessert like the butterscotch pudding (pictured below). Other popular options include plum almond tart, chocolate pecan brownie, and peach clafoutis.

Bolete welcomes guests for dinner Tuesday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday Brunch is served from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
