Manzanita, Oregon is a charming small town with a population of about 600 people.
While this gorgeous little community is home to beautiful sandy beaches and breathtaking hiking trails, we think it should be most famous for its incredible restaurants. Here are a few of Manzanita's eateries that should not be missed:
1. Big Wave Cafe
You can't visit Manzanita without stopping at Big Wave Cafe. This restaurant has some of the freshest seafood in town. The fish is perfectly prepared, and the mouthwatering pies are out of this world.
2. Bread and Ocean Bakery
There's no better way to start a morning in Manzanita than with a cinnamon bun from Bread and Ocean Bakery. This eatery serves a wide variety of pastries and comfort food. The tuna sandwich (pictured) is top notch.
3. Neah Kah Nie Bistro
You'll probably need a reservation to eat at this small bistro, but it's oh-so-worth it. A warm atmosphere and gourmet cuisine make for a cozy dining experience. The clam chowder is some of the best you'll find on the Oregon Coast.
4. Left Coast Siesta
The amazing smells wafting from Left Coast Siesta are impossible to resist. Once you're inside this Mexican restaurant, you'll find generous portions and reasonable prices. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.
5. Marzano's Pizza
This fabulous pizza place is now take-out only, but there are plenty of places nearby to sit and eat, and the beach is only a block away. We recommend grabbing a pie and eating on the beach at sunset. Weather permitting, of course.
6. San Dune Pub
This laid-back pub and eatery is the perfect place to relax after a long day on the beach. You'll find everything from BBQ burgers to fresh seafood on the menu. The fish tacos are guaranteed to make your taste buds explode.
