5 Seasonal Restaurants In Oregon You Have To Visit While The Weather Is Warm
Can you believe that summer is right around the corner? Oregonians wait a long time for sunshine and warm weather, and when the sun finally arrives, some of the tastiest restaurants in the state open their doors for the season. Here are five of the best seasonal restaurants to visit in Oregon while the weather is warm.
1. Island Cafe
This floating restaurant features a fun tropical theme and delicious frozen cocktails. Island Cafe is located in the North Portland Harbor and offers a fun little escape. It's open daily during the warmer months from 11 a.m. to sunset, and keep an eye on the special event schedule on the Island Cafe

2. Stonehedge Gardens
Stonehedge Gardens is straight out of a fairytale. This lovely location sits on seven acres of a private forest and is a popular event space, particularly for weddings, but the bistro is open daily for dinner and happy hour starting at 5 p.m. In the evenings, the patio is illuminated with enchanting lights and Stonehedge Gardens also occasionally features live music. 3. Pronto Pup
Pronto Pup is a classic corndog stand and the perfect place to stop by on a summer drive to the Oregon Coast. During spring and fall, Pronto Pup is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. In the summer, between Memorial Day and Labor Day, they are open Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The restaurant is closed December through February.
Not only are they home to delicious, old-school corndogs, they also have some truly unusual claims to fame: Pronto Pup is home of the World's Largest Corndog and the World's First Riding Mechanical Corndog!

4. Sno Cap Drive In
Delicious burgers and ice cream are just two of reasons to visit this classic Oregon drive-in. Hours vary in the winter, so summer is the perfect time to grab a tasty treat here.

5. Summit Grill
The aptly-named Summit Grill is located on the top of Mt. Howard and is only reachable by taking a ride on the Wallowa Lake Tramway. The tram operates from May through the beginning of October and during this time, the restaurant is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The food is tasty and the views from the alpine patio can't be beat!
