We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. The word "konditorei" is the German word for cake shop, and this bakery specializes in decadent cakes of all flavors. Address: 310 Kearney Street SE, Salem, OR 97302

Gerry Frank and Barney Rogers were the original owners; when Gerry retired at age 94, he sold the shop to his long-time manager Linae Sielicky and Mike and Valerie Schultz of Lovin' Oven, where the cakes are baked.
