The beautifully landscaped track clocks in at 0.7-mile and is surfaced with a special motorsports asphalt.

The track is design-specific and is modeled after the Kartodromo Parma circuit in Italy.

It features low-profile CIK curbing and extra-wide runoff zones for added safety.

It also features a pit area capable of holding the largest kart race in the U.S.

On the front stretch, a 600-foot straightaway launch affords the opportunity to reach speeds up to 55 mph right out of the box.

But the track's 11 challenging turns add some additional adrenaline to the experience. Knowing the breaking zones (shown in red in the illustration above) is key on a track like this.

Kart rentals at GoPro Metroplex currently run $25 per person, per race; $45 for two races, $65 for three races, and $100 for five races.

No go karting experience is required to race at GoPro Metroplex. All kart rentals include a neck collar and a helmet that is equipped with a GoPro mount. (Bring your own GoPro or rent one from the facility!) Be sure to wear close-toed shoes.

Kart drivers must by at least 16 and have a valid I.D. Drivers under the age of 18 must have a parent present to sign the waiver.
