The Magical Christmas Tree Forest In New York That Only Gets Better Year After Year
When it comes to celebrating the holidays in New York, many of the activities that you’ll see us taking the time to revel in are attractions and traditions that we’ve been enjoying for generations. With each town and region in the Empire State showing off their own traditions every year, it’s time we share with you one of our favorite parts of going to Hamburg’s Fairgrounds Festival of Lights in Erie County.
Running every weekend from November 23rd through December 23rd, the Fairgrounds Festival of Lights in Hamburg will have you dreaming about twinkling lights all winter long.
One of the many reasons why this festival is considered to be one of the best holiday picture-taking opportunities that you'll find in this region of New York - if you plan on making a trip to the Festival of Lights you absolutely cannot forget your camera!
At the beginning of the Christmas Tree Forest, you'll see signs where you can grab a "Spot Me" sheet, a holiday activity that the entire family can enjoy while walking through the forest where you'll have to keep an eye out for certain things.
A forest made up of hundreds of illuminated Christmas trees, you'll feel like you've entered one of your favorite childhood holiday movies when you're exploring this place.
So whether you're looking to get some amazing holiday photos or are looking for a magical one-of-a-kind Christmas experience, there's no doubt that you should be adding Hamburg's Festival of Lights to your 2018 bucket list before the year's over.
