Santa's Workshop in New York opened in 1949. It was one of the first theme parks in the nation. It has brought so much joy to families in New York and the surrounding areas, so I’m not surprised that it's still going strong.
This theme park is all about Christmas. During your visit, you can explore Santa's village and do some shopping. The kids will absolutely love taking a ride on Santa's train as well as riding the carousel, the mini-coaster, the mini-Ferris wheel, and others. Be sure to treat yourself to some hot chocolate and other yummy holiday treats, too. Spread holiday joy by participating in the Christmas carol sing-alongs. Best of all, you can even meet Santa and visit his reindeer in the Reindeer Barn. I have no doubt that you’ll experience the magic of Christmas here.
For the 2025 winter season, the park will be open on Saturdays and Sundays only, between November 22nd and December 21st, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
When you've done everything there is to do at Santa's Workshop in North Pole, New York, you can drive to your accommodations for the evening. The Adirondack Christmas Cabin is decorated for Christmastime all year. It has everything you need for a stay away from home, but you may want to pack some of your winter essentials.
The rustic cabin sleeps eight guests in three bedrooms and has two bathrooms. You'll love relaxing by the wood-burning stove. The bedrooms are decorated for the holiday season, so you'll be surrounded by lots of Christmas cheer. I think it's a nice touch to see that the bathrooms are in the holiday spirit, too! Everything in this Airbnb is so festive!
At the end of a long day, you can sit on the back porch and marvel at the beauty of the surrounding forest and mountains. This sounds like the perfect Christmas-themed getaway ... don't you agree? Merry Christmas, everyone!
Santa's Workshop is open seasonally and offers many exciting events like Breakfast with Santa, A Day with the Clauses, Yuletide Family Weekends, Village of Lights, and more. Visit the Santa's Workshop website for dates, times, and admission costs. As for the Adirondack Christmas Cabin, you can rent it at any time of year! Combine Santa's Workshop New York theme park and this cozy cabin for an epic holiday-themed adventure that you'll never forget. Ho ho ho!
