The Best Places To Go Kayaking And Paddleboarding Around New York’s Finger Lakes

Brighter days in New York mean more fun in the sun, and one of the best ways to enjoy the outdoor beauty of upstate New York is to dive right into a weekend of kayaking, paddling, and canoeing in one of the most picturesque regions in the Northeast: the Finger Lakes. While the Finger Lakes offer so many different destinations for water sports, these are a few of our favorite spots to get out on the water, and you may not be familiar with a few of them.

Before you set out on a day-long paddling or kayaking exploration with friends and family, make sure you’ve got the right supplies for your adventure, including plenty of water, food, sun protection, and life vests.
