One of their most beloved events is bumper cars on ice. Trust us, it’s just as much fun as it sounds.

Canalside has several rules and requirements regarding its bumper cars on ice. Some important things to know about bumper cars on ice include:

  • All bumper car operators must sign a waiver (if under 18, the waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian)
  • Bumper car operators must be at least six years of age
  • Occupants must wear flat, closed-toed shoes
  • The maximum weight per bumper car is 300 pounds
  • Only one person may occupy a bumper car at any given time
  • Bumper car operators must indicate payment prior to use

 

Can I go ice skating in New York?

From frozen-over natural ponds and lakes to man-made rinks, there are endless opportunities to go ice skating in New York during the wintertime. Some of them include:
