Here Are the 8 Best Places To Go Sled Riding Near Buffalo This Winter
It isn’t over ’till it’s over, and the latest forecasts are making it clear that winter is definitely not finished with us yet! If you’re looking for a good spot to give your sled some last-minute action, here are eight great hills to enjoy in Western New York:

Hit the toboggan trail or bring your own sled for winter fun at Chestnut Ridge, located at 6121 Chesnut Ridge Road in Orchard Park.

Just a block from the center of the village of Hamburg is Gunther's Hill, one of the best sledding spots in Western New York! Find it on Woodview Avenue - just look for the playground!


If your little ones are looking for a smaller hill to sled down, head to Shakespeare Hill behind the casino at Delaware Park!

Another kid-friendly hill is located next to the Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens at 2655 South Park Avenue.

For a more structured sledding experience, bundle up at Holiday Valley Tubing Park: 5673 Bryant Hill Road, Ellicottville.

Como Lake is located at 2220 Como Park Boulevard in Lancaster. The park has a popular sledding hill as well as two ice skating rinks, cross country ski trails, and snowshoeing.

Akron Falls Park is another winter hot-spot, located at 44 Parkview Drive in Akron.

The tiny town of Arcade is home to one of the biggest and best sledding hills around! You can find the park off East Main Street. Enjoy!
