The weather is getting cooler and coffee season is finally here! Sure, I enjoy coffee all year long, but now it keeps me awake AND warm. Coffee shops are the perfect place to spend a fall or winter day, and I definitely prefer local businesses over big chains. Sure, Starbucks is great, but you’ll only find these cozy coffeehouses in New Jersey.
1. Moon Doggie Coffee Roasters, Maywood
Voted Best Coffee in Bergen County by (201) Magazine, Moon Doggie also offers incredible hot chocolate. To top it all off, the shop works closely with Basset Hound rescue groups and sells a selection of dog treats to support charity.
2. The Beanery, Point Pleasant Beach
Enjoy coffee, tea, and cafe favorites at this local meeting spot. The shop also offers a space for private parties and events.
