Prescott Park sprawls along the waterfront in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Thanks to the generosity of Josie and Sarah Prescott, longtime residents of Portsmouth, they left the land for the city to create a park in 1940. Now, it’s a warm and welcoming site that draws many visitors each year.
Portsmouth, New Hampshire is in the southern part of the state. It’s about an hour north of Boston and can be reached from I-90. If you’re coming by boat to visit Prescott Park, you can arrange to dock at their pier on Piscataqua River.
Throughout the massive park, pretend you're Alice in Wonderland and enjoy the stunning views as you meander the paths.
