It would be easy to say that "these days" we love exploring new areas of New Hampshire to soak up the beauty. But the reality is that we want to do this "all days." That’s because there’s just so much to see and enjoy here. No matter the season, no matter the weather, we crave a good trip outside to clear our heads, find some peace and remember just why we keep on keeping on. If you’re of the same mindset, make your way to this beautiful area.
Mink Brook Nature Preserve is a lesser-known spot that offers some of the most lovely New Hampshire nature vibes. You'll find it in Hanover.
The preserve offers nearly 3 miles of trails to explore no matter the season.
Included in the trails are a few that are accessible, which we love.
The 0.75-mile Quinn Trail is accessible to both strollers and wheelchairs, which means everyone can be included.
The preserve is made even more beautiful by the two brooks that flow within it. The Trout Brook heads north where it meets the Mink Brook. The Mink Brook then continues to the Connecticut River.
Mostly this is a wonderful place to escape the day and get closer to yourself and the nature of New Hampshire.
Park at the trailhead and choose one of the three trails to enjoy before heading home, thankful that you have access to such incredible nature.
Mink Brook Nature Preserve offers lots of different trails to explore, year-round. You can learn more about it by checking out the Trailfinder website. There are no fees to enter, just be sure to keep things clean.
