This 10-Acre Waterfront Park In New Hampshire Offers The Most Calming Walking Paths
The natural areas found throughout New Hampshire are perfect for gaining some clarity through peace and quiet. They’re also a great way to remember just how beautiful the state is. But, hopping in the car to get to the White Mountains isn’t always feasible. That’s why we love this spot in Portsmouth. Located right on the water, it’s perfect for a midday escape without actually escaping.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate
Prescott Park is open 24 hours and is free to enter unless you’re using one of the two public docking facilities. You can learn more about visiting and what the park offers by visiting the City of Portsmouth website. You can learn more about the annual Arts Festival taking place in July and August by checking out the dedicated website here.
Michelle has lived in many places, but counts Maine as one of the best. In addition to the smell of ocean water in the air on rainy days in Portland, she loves puppies, photography, funny people, the Maine Red Claws, traveling, fresh tomatoes, Cambodia and filling out forms.
