The Beautiful Restaurant Tucked Away In A Washington Forest Most People Don’t Know About
Milano's in Deming, Washington, offers delicious Italian cuisine in a cozy setting near the Nooksack River and Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest.
Unless you've spent a great deal of time in the northwest corner of Washington, you've probably never heard of the tiny town of Deming. This quiet community of about 350 people sits right on the Nooksack River in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. It's beautiful, and so is the the favorite local Italian spot, Milano's.
Milano's is located at 9990 Mt. Baker Highway, so it's easy to find.
Whether you're on a date night or you've been hiking in Glacier all day, this place really hits the spot.
The interior is cozy and comfortable but not pretentious, so you can visit after a day spent in the mountains without feeling out of place.
Milano's is known for their mouthwatering pasta served in large portions.
You definitely won't leave hungry.
The quality of the ingredients used in the dishes is exceptional.
This is a pasture raised, grass fed, hormone and antibiotic free natural Ribeye with Duchess Potatoes and Italian Gorgonzola sauce. Yum!
The surrounding scenery isn't too shabby, either.
Milano's is open Thursday-Sunday from 4-8 PM, except on Fridays and Saturdays when they're open until 9. Occasionally dinner guests will enjoy live music in the dining room.
We love beautiful restaurants in remote settings, especially when they serve food this delicious. And if you're ever in the Chelan area, don't forget to dine at Sorrento's.
