1. Apple Creek Orchards, Ferndale

2.The Farm at Swan's Trail, Snohomish

You can pick Jongagold, Gala and Honeycrisp apples at the Farm at Swan's Trail. October is an especially fun time to visit since they also have wagon rides, duck races, a corn maze and a pumpkin patch. Address: 7301 Rivershore Road, Snohomish, WA, 98290.

3. Ray French Orchard, Richland

4. Bill’s Berry Farm, Grandview

5. Green Bluff High Country Orchard, Colbert

6. Smith’s Hilltop Orchard, Colbert

Get your Honeycrisp, Early Gold and Jonagold fix from Smith's Hilltop Orchard, which you'll find in the Green Bluff area. They might be home of the one pound peach, but their apples certainly aren't puny. Address: 9423 East Greenbluff Road, Colbert, WA, 99005.

7. BelleWood Farms, Bellingham

BelleWood Farms is a working farm that offers pick-your-own apples in one of the largest apple orchards in western Washington. Harvest runs through the end of October, and you'll have around 20 varieties of apples to choose from. Add this to your list of farms to visit in fall in Washington. 8. Wilson Banner Ranch, Clarkston

9. Lattin’s Country Cider Mill & Farm, Olympia

Lattin’s is open year-round and holds an Apple Festival the last weekend of September and every weekend in October with games, tractor-drawn wagon rides and visits with farm animals. 10. Jones Creek Farms, Sedro Woolley
