Get Your Cider Donut Fix From This Legendary Washington Farm
Washington summers fly by in the blink of an eye — but as our sunburns fade and we trade our sandals for boots, it's important to look around and remember just how fantastic our autumns are as well. There's nothing like fall in the Pacific Northwest, and there's no better way to celebrate the changing of the seasons than by heading to one of our local farm for festivities.
Swans Trail Farms has one of the best fall festivals in the state, and their food selection is second to none... especially the irresistible apple cider donuts.
Swans Trail Farms is located in Snohomish, where it has been a local icon for decades.
The farm has been owned and operated by the Krause family since 1984, and it's open seasonally for different events and festivals.
The annual fall festival kicks off until September, running until Halloween.
The 2022 fall festival dates are September 24 - October 31.
Attending the festival means you'll have access to all the classic autumn activities, like picking pumpkins from the pumpkin patch...
... and there are also plenty of unique things to do.
The younger guests enjoy the Petting Farm, which has rabbits, goats, lambs, and even a pony.
The country store is open during the fall festival, and you'll want to take advantage of this farm-fresh market.
From fresh produce to jarred goods to handmade gifts, you'll find a little bit of everything here. Don't forget to take home some freshly picked apples and apple cider from the cider mill.
Make sure you come hungry, because the food selection here is absolutely out of this world.
You'll have your choice of treats like kettle corn and pastries, but nothing tops the piping hot cider donuts. They're downright addictive.
Swans Trail Farms also serves plenty of savory options at The Tractor Cafe, and it's all made on-site daily.
They like to BBQ a new food item each year, and this fall's feature will be smoked brisket. Yum!
Fall is in the air, and that isn't a bad thing.
Come celebrate at Swans Trail Farms and see for yourself.
