1. Fox Hollow Farm, Issaquah
Editor's Note: Fox Hollow Farm is temporarily closed in 2022 due to new management, but plans to reopen.
If you have little ones and you're looking for things to do in Washington in the fall, Fox Hollow Farm has all they could ever need: a pumpkin patch, hayrides, farm animals, a hay bale maze, corn bin, pony rides, train rides, trick-or-treating, ATVs and huge inflatables. They have two daily Fall Festival sessions you can reserve in advance, and they are open daily until Halloween from 10-5.
2. Craven Farm, Snohomish
The pumpkin patch at Craven Farm is 20 acres, so you'll have no problem finding your future jack-o-lanterns. While you're at it, check out the barn animals, enjoy a fresh donut, explore the corn maze and go for a hayride (offered weekends only). On Saturdays and Sundays in October, little ones can meet with Anna and Elsa from Frozen. The farm is open daily through Halloween from 9:30 AM-dusk.
3. Remlinger Farms, Carnation
Remlinger Farms is only open on the weekends (10-6 until October 30), and you could easily spend an entire day enjoying all they offer. Between the steam train, pony rides, 4-H barnyard, hayrides, farm theater and blow up bouncers, your entire family will enjoy the experience. Before you leave, make sure you pick up one of their homemade pies.
4. Vancouver Pumpkin Patch
Vancouver Pumpkin Patch is open 7 days a week and offers hayrides on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Admission is only $6 and includes tons of fun activities (and a pumpkin!), and you can go home with veggies and fall decorations from their u-pick farm. That's a great deal for one of the best pumpkin patches in Washington state.
5. Colville Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch, Knight Farms
The family-owned Colville Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch is open Monday-Thursday from 4PM - dark, Friday from 4PM - 7:30PM, and weekends from 11AM - 7:30PM. This year's pumpkin crop is their best one yet, and their corn maze is both fun and challenging.
6. Thompson’s Farm, Naches
Thompson's Farm is open on weekends from 9-4, and you can also visit on weekdays by making an appointment (email [email protected]). You'll love picking out pumpkins in a farm setting, firing pumpkins from a cannon, and shopping their fresh market.
7. Union Gap Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch, Yakima Area
The family-friendly Union Gap Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch has been a local favorite for years. Admission is $10 for ages 3 and up (children 2 and under are free). They're open Wednesday-Sunday until Halloween with varying hours. From Wednesday-Saturday starting at 7PM, the big corn maze is haunted.
8. Spooner Farms, Puyallup
For over 20 years, Spooner Farms has been a favorite for Southsound families. They offer a corn maze, pumpkin sling shots, pedal karts and pony rides, farm animals, face painting, a kids barn and duck races. The pumpkin patch is open daily from 9-6, and admission is free (activity and pumpkin costs vary).
9. Country Mercantile, Pasco and Richland
Country Mercantile started as a small produce stand, and now they supply the entire Tri Cities area with fresh fruits and veggies throughout the year. Their annual Pumpkin Patch Festival includes corn mazes, straw bale mazes, straw bale pyramids and a tractor pulled wagon ride out to the pumpkin patch. They're open 7 days a week.
10. Harvest Maze and Pumpkin Patch at Becerra Gardens, Quincy
Every year, Becerra Gardens hosts a Harvest Maze and Pumpkin Patch that's open on weekends from 10-6 through Halloween. Admission is $6 per person to wander the maze, $5 per person for groups of five or more. Pick out your pumpkins and enjoy a slide, games, fire pits and pumpkin painting.
11. Maris Farms, Buckley
Maris Farms has it all: Pumpkins, gourds, cornstalk bundles, hay bales and carving kits. Their awesome list of activities includes farm animals, a maze, riding in a real life Monster Truck, hayrides, zip lines, pig and duck races and a super-sized jump pillow, plus pony rides, a pedal cart track and The Haunted Woods. If you're hoping to find a pumpkin patch with rides, this is a fun one. Their open daily (hours vary) with a cost of $6-$17 depending on what you'd like to do.
12. Schilter Family Farm, Olympia
The 180-acre Schilter Family Farm, located in the Nisqually Valley in Olympia, hosts an annual Harvest Festival every October. They offer a giant themed corn maze, hay maze, farm animals with a goat walk, hay rides, round-up railway cow train, hay jump, busy bee garden and play area. You can also enjoy some classic farm treats like fresh roasted corn, apple cider donuts and spiced cider. They're open daily from 10-6.
