There’s A Sunflower Maze Near Pittsburgh That’s Just As Magnificent As It Sounds

Summer’s still got plenty of life left in, and adventure still awaits. While we’re probably counting down the days until the fall debuts its annual corn mazes, we can head over to Maple Bottom Farm, which features the best sunflower maze near Pittsburgh. (The farm actually boasts two sunflower mazes, so you’ll have double the fun.)

See how long it takes you to escape from the beautiful sunflower mazes at Maple Bottom Farm in Dawson, just under an hour’s drive from downtown Pittsburgh.

The sunflower mazes are tentatively set to welcomes guests through September 13, 2020, which means you still have plenty of time to plan your visit.

Planted over two plots that measure six acres, the sunflower mazes promise fun and a breathtaking backdrop for taking photographs. It’s also a family-friendly activity geared toward kiddos of all ages.

Cost of admission is $5 per person. If you simply can’t leave without a sunflower, you can purchase them at two for $5.

Make sure you wear appropriate clothing for the farm, which can get muddy.

Maple Bottom Farm will also welcome several food trucks to the sunflower maze each weekend. Hulls Lemonade Shakeups and Steel City Chimneys are both set to attend, though dates have not been announced.
