The three-mile, moderately-rated Kildoo Trail loop meanders through McConnells Mill State Park and boasts some pretty amazing scenery.

Start your hike at either end of the old covered bridge. Of course, take a moment to first admire the covered bridge and maybe snap a selfie or two.

Pass rock formations, travel up slight inclines, and journey over Slippery Rock Creek.

And, stop by the Old Grist Mill, which dates back to the 19th century. Tours of the mill are available Wednesday through Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from Memorial Day until the end of September.
