However, if you're hoping to see more than you can on your own two feet, and you'd prefer to get out of your car, consider a scenic train trip through the colorful, changing landscape!

The historic steam locomotives owned by this railroad were built in the early 1900s. Not many steam locomotives run these days, and this is a chance to enjoy a slice of history and the beautiful colors of fall all at once.

Seating options include the following: Open Car (no roof, so dress appropriately for the weather), Covered Car (has a roof but no windows), Enclosed Car (a fully enclosed 1950s car with tables), or Neahkahnie Car (a fully enclosed 1910s dining car).
