Take a stroll through the forest and explore the 26 acres this park has to offer.

Watch for pretty wildflowers, and listen for the songs of the Stellar Jay and Townsend's Warbler, just two of many bird species found here.

...but you'll definitely want to take the short trail that takes you to the lookout. At 1,629 feet, this overlook offers some stunning views.

On a clear day, you can look out over the valley and rolling hills below to see Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, Mt. Rainier, and Mt. St. Helens in the distance.

When it's foggy, you won't see the valley below, but rest assured that the view is just as compelling. You'll want to bring your camera along for this afternoon excursion.
